For K-12 Classrooms
The Aging Unit Plan included in the classroom kit will help students better understand the complexities and realities of growing old in a youth obsessed society. The curriculum can be adapted for any K-12 grade level and across disciplines, including Language Arts, Social Studies, Health, Science, Psychology and Math. It is created with national and state standards in mind and fulfills them almost entirely.

For Churches and Other Groups
Many churches throughout the U.S. and Canada already use GRANDFATHER’S BIRTHDAY to guide discussions related to aging issues and a variety of other topics. A separate education kit is provided for use in churches or other non-school settings. It can be used with audiences ranging from elementary age children to adult groups (NOTE – this program is not intended for use with seniors groups, but rather, others who interact with seniors).
