The lead character of “Grandfather” is played by veteran stage, screen and television actor Robert Prosky, who is best known for his role as Sgt. Jablonski in the hit TV series HILL STREET BLUES

Mr. Prosky has also appeared in more than 30 feature films, including MRS. DOUBTFIRE, DEAD MAN WALKING, THE NATURAL, BROADCAST NEWS and HOFFA. He has also made guest appearances on a number of television series, including CHEERS, VERONICA’S CLOSET, FRASIER, THE PRACTICE and TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL.

Mr. Prosky is also an accomplished stage actor. He garnered Tony Award nominations for A WALK IN THE WOODS and GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS. Along with his Broadway performances, he was a regular with the Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. and has appeared in stage productions throughout the world.
